On 30th of July, the traffic system is supposed to be changed in some parts of Slovenia
If you are planning a trip to the Soča velley on the 30th of July we would like to provide you with some traveling information, because on that date Russian president Vladimir Putin is visiting the Russian chapel on the Vršič pass and the traffic system is supposed to be changed in some parts of Slovenia.
If you are planning to come to the Soča valley on the previously mentioned date we would recommend you to come trough Nova Gorica (A1 highway). Definetly we would not recommend you to use Gorenjska avtocesta (A2 highway), or Karavanke tunnel as those will get closed throughout the day, because of the mentioned visit.
